OUR HISTORY

Mr Pickwicks Trading Company has had a  retail store in Christchurch for the last 30 years. However, because of a change in business direction this has been rebranded and is now operates under the name BRIDGE INTERIORS.

Mr Pickwicks has been in the Mather family since 1981 and the present owners Simon Mather and Jan Haley have owned the business since 1998.   During the last decade  the business has undergone substanstial change brought about by the decline in demand for Antique and secondhand furniture eventually forcing Jan and Simon to make the decision to withdraw from this market and  focus on the new side of their business.

VALUATIONS

We cannot offer an on-line valuation service at this stage due to time constraints and the fact there are substantial differences in value between various parts of the country.

GUARANTEE

In most cases we will refund the purchase price (less freight) if the customer is not satisfied with any goods purchased from this site. However although we endeavour to provide an accurate description with regard condition we must point out many of our goods are secondhand and it is inevitable they are rarely perfect.  Significant faults may be detailed whereas it is not practical to list every minor imperfection such as small scratches and dents, although we welcome questions via the "Ask A Question" box.
